A velvety, plush, fruity oaked red wine with flavours of raspberries, blackberries, cocoa, vanilla. Fairview, situated on the lower slopes of the Paarl Mountain, is one of the oldest properties in South Africa, the vines being planted as early as 1699. Pioneers in the region, owner Charles Back and Cellarmaster Anthony de Jager continue to make improvements in the vineyards and cellar, with a clear focus on sustainability. They make generous Malbec exclusively for M&S, ageing the wine in French and American oak for 9 months. Best enjoyed within 3 years of purchase.
