We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail who will be responsible for our brand’s graphics design projects from concept to delivery. One of the major responsibilities of a ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐——๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ is liaising with the stores and marketing team involved in the production of graphic design projects.ย You will be able to transform fashion brand concepts into visually creative mediums to help support our digital marketing and brand marketing efforts. The candidate needs to have a strong sense of visual hierarchy and experience developing unique branding materials for print and web, templates, event signage, publication design, presentations, and packaging. This is an opportunity to help define and shape the brand image of a retail infrastructure company thatโ€™s looking to grow and develop even further.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Producing in-store collateral for seasonal campaigns, trading calendar promotions and basic marketing within departments of each store
  2. Assisting in brand concepts from typesetting through to design, print and production, following each brand’s guidelines
  3. Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and any related media
  4. Determining size and arrangement of photographic material and grid usage
  5. Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
  6. Design clear engaging graphic communications for print and web
  7. Social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed
  8. Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality

 

Skills Needed:

  • Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat
  • Experience preparing files for digital and print production (i.e; setting up and optimizing files for web and print)
  • Thorough understanding of the elements of good design and web best practices
  • Ability to meet deadlines and production scheduling on numerous, concurrent projects through various teams
  • Good photo retouching and colour correcting skills
  • Adobe After Effects knowledge will be considered as an asset
